What are people doing about their cheapy side rails popping up? My driver's side is starting to get bad.

follow these steps...
1. remove side rail
2. put on curb on garbage day
3. buy sliders
4. carry on

Take them off gently, clean the surfaces where the dual sided foam tape would stick. I used light odour general purpose cleaner to remove the sticky stuff.

Mine was replaced under warranty when it lifted again.

Keep the step rails on, it'll prevent chipping of your paint from flying rocks from your tires.

The best suggestion I can give you is go to a dealer that sells supplies to auto body shops or if you have a speed shop in your area, try them.I know 3M makes good products.I've never used these guys but you might want to take a look at their site http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/search/ ... rim%20tape You might try Ebay also.I'm sure you can find some locally to where you are also.Autozone or one of those type places will also have it.

I recall after reading my electronic service manual, they use double sided 3M tape.
