Thanks. The lights are wired to one of the two cigarette lighters by the radio, the one that comes on with the car (the other one is always on). The light's always on with ACC. I was going to wire a shutoff switch, but got lazy. The lights are from Autozone (two pack with six LEDs each, as you can see, very bright). The hardest part was stripping the power wire to connect the power. Otherwise it's pretty easy. Feel free to ask more questions.

How easy were the LED tails to install? They look nice! Any problems? I don't know why it's the case but I've heard in other forums regarding other vehicles that sometimes installing LED tails on a vehicle that didn't originally have them can mess up the cruise control...again, not sure why but just wondering how well they work here. Where did you pick them up from?

The tail lights were a breeze. They're plug & play. I got them off of ebay (link below). I never heard of the cruise control issue, but I'll try that today. The tail lights have the three bulb wires (brake, turn, reverse) coming together to one roll which then goes through a rubber grommet and ends at a plug in harness. The LED replacement is the same way. You just unplug the harness, remove the rubber grommet, and install the new one, simple. The only hard part was the driver side panel. You have to remove the jack cover, door sill cover, net anchors (only two at the back), take off some of the rubber door-seal, and pry the panel back to get to the harness. The passenger side has more room and was much easier. In all, took about 1/2 hour. Good luck.

Okay, thanks for the info. Like I said, what I have heard may not be true or may have been specific to a particular vehicle. If you could test it out, however, to confirm no problems that would be great!

I just got my new Pathfinder LE on Friday so it may be awhile before I do any mods but those LED tails sure do look nice!

I like it because it looks like it came from the factory. Did you get a V8 or V6? I got mine in February.

Mine is the V8 and has most of the options on it...very nicely equipped. I like it a lot so far and I've only had it a couple days! Mine is white and I like how the chrome and white look together.
