tires starting to chop

on my 06 path i noticed that my tires are starting to get choppy. have anyone else experienced the same. the tires that came on my truck are nankangs.

Are you talking about the outer treads "cupping"? My '05 had the same problem with the stock BFG's. It was mostly my fault though because I didnt rotate the tires at all.
With my new set of tires I have solved the problem by cross-rotating about every 5,000 miles. I cross-rotate to help the tires wear evenly, but it can only be done with non-directional tread.

it's chopping on the inside treads.

My first set of tires were cupping on the inside. Set #2 are wearing almost perfectly even.

thanks. i think it's the tires that are crap. gonna ride them out then get some michelin or goodyear tires to replace them.

it's not noticeable. i rubbed my hands against the tire and felt it.
