Aftermarket Key Fobs on Sale

Postby FLiPMaRC » Tue Oct 01, 2019 6:51 am

I'm not sure if we're allowed to post this. Please delete if not.

I just saw this on Amazon and thought I'd share. Two key fobs for $8.76. https://www.amazon.com/YITAMOTOR-Compat ... automotive

It's a lightning deal, so the sale price is only available for a few hours.

Yes I bought a set.

When I bought fobs off the internet it cost me $155 to get the dealer to program them.

I went to the local locksmith to do it, but he couldn't get them to work and after a couple of tries said he didn't want to continue because of the risk of bricking the locking system which would require towing the vehicle to a dealer.

Keyless2Go 2 New Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Car Key Fob KBRASTU15 for Frontier Armada Murano Pathfinder Quest Titan and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y1HRUYM/re ... fEbYGM3V98

I have like four of these. I programmed them all myself using the included instructions. No issues. $11 for the pair.

I also have been getting extra chipped keys made at ACE Hardware. Forget how much each cost, but it’s cheap enough to where I have three or four of those as well. The ACE guys programmed those with a pedal dance...again, no issues.
