Had they not given it the Pathfinder" name and called ANYTHING else, it would have been accepted better. There are a lot of pre-2013 Pathfinder owners that really resented Nissan putting the "Pathfinder" name on a vehicle that they feel doesn't represent it's history. To make it worse, it's suffered from being time reliability issues and been ranked near the bottom of its class by Consumer Reports from its inception, although it has gotten a little better over the last two-years.
