Installing a sunroof

Postby davidluz09 » Wed Dec 04, 2019 12:35 am

Hey all,
I want to put a sunroof in my truck. Anyone here ever done this? I'm looking for y'alls input on this project. Any brand better than another? Leak issues? Better to have stealership do it? Etc...
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

There are a couple of companies that do a pretty good job, but they are never as good as a factory installed sunroof and when they get older and parts break or seals leak, it can get difficult to find replacement parts for them. ASC, or American Sunroof Corporation, based out of San Diego, is probably the best when it comes to aftermarket or "retrofitted" sunroofs. Webasto is supposed to be pretty good, as well.
