Leather Seat Replacements?

Postby Wes » Sun Jun 28, 2020 5:52 pm

Has anyone found a good quality replacement cover for the leather seats? I see the clazzio makes a nice set, but might want to go a little cheaper. But not so cheap as a "universal" cover. I don't mind spending some money, but not too much.

Wes,
In the past I have used auto upholstery shops with great success.
They are not cheap but if you have just 1 or 2 rips can be affordable.

I think the katzskin covers may come in different levels because i seen some that look good and i seen some that look not so good.

There is are junkyards.. ( sadly most dont do a good job in protecting the upholstery but its worth a try).

Be aware that some leather seats in that era had side air bags built into the seats and a cover may interfere with their operation. It's best to check.

I ended up getting vinyl replacement at the upholstery shop. It looks like brand new.
