PRG vs Mevotech vs SPC UCA

Postby silverarrow27 » Fri Jul 03, 2020 6:58 pm

I've been doing some research and found that Mevotech has their own adjustable front UCA. I was on PRG's site the other day and saw that PRG mentioned their UCA is a replica of the Mevotech, however, PRG didn't mention if they made any upgrades/advancements to their's over the Mevotech. Now, if I had to take a wild guess...PRG and SPC both copied the Mevotech UCAs or probably just a rebrand? Anyone that has been in the Pathy game for a while have any experiences with all three or just additional information that I can't seem to find?

At a bit over $400 for the Mevotech UCAs, its very tempting, compared to the almost $600 PRGs and SPCs.

Do you have a link to the Mevotechs? I'd like to check them out.

I was trying to find you a suitable link, but I couldn't. It's on Rockauto->suspension->control arm->MEVOTECH CMS301141 though. That's where I was referencing the pricing of the Mevotech compared to the PRG & SPC.

I found it! They look pretty good and I would go with them for the price. Their "supreme" line is pretty good and it has a lifetime warranty. Mevotech is a good company.

That's exactly who I'm leaning towards since I haven't found anything different in design or material with all three. Like I said previously, according to PRG's site, the PRG and SPC arms are rebranded Mevotechs anyhow. Just go straight to the source for cost savings.
