2005 R51 Pathfinder Splash Guard Installation Instructions.........

Postby eieio » Mon Oct 12, 2020 9:22 am

I've lost track of the instruction sheet for the Nissan OEM accessory splashguards.
In particular, I need the list of parts with part numbers for their installation hardware, front & rear (especially the rear at this point).
A PDF of the instruction sheet would be helpful.
Thanks!

No install instructions needed. When you match up the guards to your fender well you will see exactly which (i believe it was only 3) screws need to be removed per spot then you simply screw them into the splash guards:
999J2-XR00003 Splash Guards, Front
999J2-XR00004 Splash Guards, Rear

Thanks Blink32.
The body shop that replaced my rear bumper cover loused up the re-installation of my rear splash guards (poorly aligned & stripped screw holes, left out the rear push pins). :x
Now I have poorly aligned & loose splash guards, and damaged hardware & screw holes.
I see that the splash guards came with 3 screws and one push pin each.
So did the holes for the screws have to be drilled to install them originally?
When I bought my R51 in 2005, it already had the splash guards installed, and I didn't get the instruction sheet.

No drilling was required to install the mud flaps. IIRC, there was a plastic piece that was held on with screws that gets discarded when one installs the factory mud flaps and the screws are re-used or new ones were provided with the flaps (I forget which).

No drilling whatsoever. My 06 originally didn't come with them. I checked earlier today and the screws in the fender well using existing holes and the push pin retainer is used on the very bottom on the outside of the splash guard if that makes sense. Just to keep the bottom in place.
