Factory Brake Line with Suspension Lift

Postby silverarrow27 » Tue Jan 25, 2022 3:16 pm

I bought an 08 V8 back in October and been having some issues with it.

I find it strange when people spend the time and money to install a suspension lift and subframe spacer, but not spend the extra $100 to put in extended brake lines.

That's with the rear sway bar still in tact. Imagine if the rear sway bar was removed? That brake line would eventually snap when you need that extra droop. Well, I removed the rear sway bar after I put in new extended brake lines.

Oh and while I was there I installed new e-brake shoes, drum brake hardware, new rotors, and new calipers as well.

Ended up fixing my parking brake, now the pedal doesn't go all the way to the floor anymore with barely a bite. Now I have to look into the heater not working and the rear end drives like I'm driving on water when it hits bumps, dips, or I take curves.
