Just worked my first electrical job in the engine box of a '22 Pathy and discovered something every R53 owner should know about. Some brilliant engineer at Nissan decided to locate the ECM directly underneath the battery.
Not an immediate concern, but this will almost certainly cause long term corrosion issues with the ECM housing and potentially the connectors themselves. Sulfuric acid fumes are no joke. If you own an R53 and intend to keep it for the long haul, I strongly recommend you hit Home Depot for some durable plastic sheeting and cover this up.
