2010 Nissan Path p0744

Postby MG54 » Thu Dec 01, 2022 5:50 pm

I was driving and the car popped a p0744 code for "Torque converter clutch circuit intermittent"
personally, I've never dealt with a transmission before, but I have done all the maintenance and work on this car by myself
How serious is this code?
What is the main cause of this code? I read that it is commonly a solenoid but I feel safer just asking.
Have any of you dealt with it, and what is the easiest way to do so?

Really hoping to not have to get rid of my pathfinder.
Thank you

I haven’t dealt with this issue before but it could be related to the fluid have you changed it regularly. Have you checked the level? Simple things first right.
