Haha! Cool video. Seeing how they handle all the mud though, I gotta wonder what tires they are running, probably not OEM! :P

Back again...
Don't know if you've seen this site
http://www.nissan-adventure.co.uk/
(part of Nissan UK's site) if you click on the 'off road skills' menu on the Pathfinder link there's a few video clips of the 'right' (?) way of doing things.
Good point you make there regarding tyre choice Racer, over here there's very little in the way of choice in the same size as the OEM fit. There's loads of choice if you've got 16" rims instead of the 17" I have. Hopefully that'll change soon as there's loads of Navara's on the road now and Pathfinders seem to be getting a bit more popular too, guess I'll have to wait and see.

Holy cow what? I see two newish Nissans driving in mud on relatively flat surfaces. Yay? I've done worse in a Honda Civic. ;)

Well what can I say, us R51 owners are easily impressed :P

Hitting Death Valley again next month with the Miss, plan to hit some more interesting trails this time out, and it's her first time doing anything like this at all so should prove highly amusing

Racer, you should have a camera mounted on the dash just to get the expressions on her face. Then you could split screen as she screams when you go through something narly. That would be hilarious.

88 I'm glad you are on the board to help out with your vast knowledge. Good luck finding a tranny.

Gracias. I have a tranny, just waiting for the extra $200-300 to have a shift kit installed in it. I don't have the room or the tools to tear down an automatic. :(
