Biggest Tire for Stock Pathfinder?

Postby Uncharted_Path » Tue Mar 16, 2010 7:40 pm

What's the biggest tire that fits on a stock 08 2wd pathfinder? My fiance just picked one up and we thinking about tossing some bigger tires on it. I did some searches but didn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance for the info.
Edit: The tire size would be for 16" wheels.
Going to take some pics of her new ride tomorrow and I'll do a proper introduction :D

Hello!

Don't think you searched thoroughly, because it's the most popular question on board!

BTW, w/o lift you can use any tires up to 265/75-16 (275/70-16, 285/65-16), bigger tires will fit but you will get some rubber and sometime even impact with frame - so, avoid to go this way. In case you going to lift your vehicle there is much wider choice.

some 285/75/16 ' s will fit without any modifications, and if they did rub all you would need to do is a melt mod on the inside wheel well plastic. Use the search function and it will bring up all types of topics on tire sizes and what tires people are running.

Yikes it's suprising how going up a couple inch's in tires can cause so many problems. When I put 33"s on my Tacoma I had to cut the body mounts and then box them back in. My bro was able to throw on 33"s on his X-terra and all he had to do was the melt mod.
