my wife, who drives our '06 Path SE 4x2, said her car was acting strange when locking/unlocking with her remote clicker thingy(not sure the right word here). anyway, when she locks it, it'll lock the doors, but she doesn't get a Honk sound to let you know that it "locked successfully". When she unlocks it, she doesn't get any tail light flashing anymore either.
This is a pretty strange/new one to me. Where would be the best place to start troubleshooting this issue?

the owners manual has a silent feature for locking and unlocking. it tells you how to disable it. here is a link.

Just a note. I know that with mine, if a door is slightly ajar when you lock it...you'll hear the locks click, but the horn won't honk. It's kind of nice, so that you know a door is still open.
Also, has anyone noticed that if you unlock the car with the remote, but don't get it, it will relock after a short time?

u can choose after how much time it will lock.
also if the key is inside, it will never lock on its own.
