anything yet on the market beside the Nissan OR ones ?

4x4parts.com has them for the previous platform.

Aren't things basically the same underneath on the '08? I thought it was mainly cosmetic changes and the addition of the V8 as an option.

yes but I was wondering with the V8 being a bigger engine maybe it sits lower ?

Best bet is to crawl under and see if the engine dips below the frame rails. You can look at Carl's thread on the skid plates. Oh you already found it.

We have full skid plates for the pathfinder, as well as a front bumper and sliders....unfortunately none are on the site but we have made adjustments to the skids to fit the pathfinder, so the second gen skid plates are what you'll pay, and the Frontier bumper is basically what your looking at for the front bumper. You can call to order.
