Rear heat doesn't get warm

Postby allisojh » Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:28 pm

2006 Pathfinder SE.

Fan runs fine but never heats up.

Front heat works fine.

Are the front and rear separate? is there a heater fuse? WTF??

Any help?

There is some kind of a bubble in your radiator line. I had the some problem and read it on this forum I think you have to leave your car on sloap and keep it running for about 5 mins. Search the forum and you will find the answer.

I got heat.

I let it run a little bit and it got hot.

I thought... because hot air was coming out the front the second I turned on the rear heat it would come out hot.

i guess being a different heater coil, I need to give it a few minutes especially when its 20 degrees the past 5 days here is beautiful Pennsylvania.

We literally went from summer to artic winter in a week.

Just make sure your coolant level is good. A low coolant level could cause the delay too.
