Just purchased an '07 Pathfinder SE to replace an '05 Honda Civic. Yeah! We live in Seattle, WA. My wife and I wanted a vehicle that was tough enough to pull a horse trailer but small enough to drive around the city. I love our new Pathy! Currently has 52,000 miles. Loaded with extras.

I opted for the 5-star 4 year, 48,000 miles warranty. I'm really thankful because I just noticed that the heater stops working when the car is idling. I'm taking it in this week to be looked at. Looks like a few others have had issues with this.

I was also surprised to learn that it has an automatic starter installed. It operates by hitting the door lock button twice on the standard Nissan keyfob (I found this out by accident). It's kind of irritating because I mistakenly turn it on all the time. Anyone else have this feature? Is there anyway to change the settings?

I'm also interested in learning more about people's experience with pet cargo barriers. I was a little bummed to learn that there is no factory barrier for the Pathfinder (but there is one for the Xterra). Did anyone buy an off-brand pet barrier? How do you like it?
