power steering and brake failure

power steering and brake failure

My wife was just pulling out of the driveway and her steering and brakes failed in her 2001 pathfinder SE. She was able to pull over and stop by slowing down and using e-brake.The car will turn over, she is not sure if she lost acceleration. Any ideas? I've read about the ECM or IPDM going bad, is this going to be a $$$ electronic issue or could it be a belt $.
