Ran into a problem re-wiring the headlights'

Postby Catsnipped » Fri Apr 13, 2012 7:44 pm

Anyone able to tell me which wires go where for the left and right headlight plugs on an 05 Pathy?? I.e. which color wire goes to which plug slot for right and left (they're different.)

Even just a picture of each side would really help!!

Thanks, Chris

Chris,

If I unplug the sockets and look at the back of the plug where the wires are...

driver=pink, black, green

Passenger=red, black, blue

Hope that helps. Not sure if the 05 and 08 models have the same colors or not.

Chris,

Glad it worked out for you. What were you doing with the headlights?

The search for brighter whites

I have been in the process of finding ceramic light bulb harnesses that won't melt down if I use Hella "off road" bulbs. Unfortunately somewhere along the way a wire got transposed and low beam setting became high and vice versa; rather than blow a fuse or some such fun I figured I'd reach out and see what the correct patter was supposed to be...

For what it's worth, the low as high was kinda nice with the fogs being on as well, but there weren't any plugs that could handle that (I tried several) for any extended period.
