Is it worth doing it?? 2nd on the list is Lifting my pathfindy by 3". What are the parts and brand that i would need? Thank you so much for the help

What are your goals?

The Pathfinder isn't exactly the best platform for too many mods or anything too serious.

For straight line, there is the SRT-8 or the Trailblazer SS.

For lifting/off road performance, there are a lot of other platforms better suited for it in the same price range if not cheaper. Here's a good place to start though.

Welcome to the Path and congrats on your first car. When it comes to lifts, I agree with NmexMAX, it depends on what type of driving you are going to do and how much money you want to spend. The options are limited but there are a few and you sure can improve your ride, over stock. The link that NmexMAX has sent is a good read but also check out the suspension section under the R51. You may also want to look at 4x4parts.com, they are a Nissan specialist and have a few options to look at. PRG products also has lifts as well. It is hard to say which is the best for you. Again, it depends on how you are going to use it.

As for the K&N drop in filter, I would save my money and look at Cold Air Intakes, there are a few on the market, for the V6. K&N makes one, so does Nismo, Volant, Stillen, Airaid and Injen. Probably missed some. If you look under the classified section, in this forum, I thought I saw a Volant for sale. I have an Airaid, which I got through North Shore Off Road. They have a store in Langley.

The clunk is from the control arms hitting the frame. Aftermarket A-arms are available to correct that:

and how much of a problem is the the clunking...any major issues??...does it take extreme wheeling to cause the clunking or does going over speed bumps at speed also cause it??
