My local Nissan dealership just received a load of TPMS sensors...the tsunami damage had crimped their supply for a while. Anyway, I still need to replace mine so they finally provided me a quote. $335 for parts and labor...to protect a $180 tire!
Looking at how to do this differently. I know it's been discussed before, but can non-Nissan shops recode the TPMS sensors? If so I'm going to shop around...cheapest option may be to get a sensor off the internet for $70, replace the sensor myself at the base auto shop, then have Nissan or another shop do the recode...
