I'll call this section:
Me and my big mouth.... Feel free to ask any questions ya want....
I can tell you right now mileage is better than I expected already.
My g/f lives by my work.. ~40 miles away. Driving at my normal pace my '08 stuck at 16.7 almost always. Most of it highway and frankly, I admit to a heavy foot. Driving '13 today, it averaged out to about 21.2 so far. (At one point I witnessed 28.8 on level ground when I first reset the mpg toy

) I'm imagining it'll drop slightly to 20 once I factor in all the local driving and I did 150 miles this weekend already).
Towing: Welp, they changed the connector, so I haven't tested that yet. My '08 measured 20.5" to the bottom of the hitch WITH airbags pumped to 13 psi, and I always left it there until I towed, where I'd raise it to 20),
The '13 measured only 16.0" to the bottom of the hitch (no airbags), so I also need to grab my older tow hitch, flip it, and install a new 2" ball. So a few things have changed already. Also, my enclosed trailer is 1400lbs empty, single axle and enclosed 18" V-nose. I tow a big 750 ATV around, another 850lbs plus maybe 150lbs in gear and gas. I'll report once it's done, likely before Jan 1 I hope....
First impressions of it, it really is smoother, and yes, a little car like I admit, (unibody, independent susp etc, I know) you don't sit up as high but your not down in the weeds either. I was able to barely squeeze a new storm door in it today sitting on top of the steering wheel, last week when I got the new front door in the '08, it was exactly the same thing, pushed seats forward and was able to shut the rear hatch. (power closing AND latching as opposed to just latching before (nice!)... some times it feels bigger, and others its smaller. Can't explain it. Heated seats are nice, my first vehicle with leather ever... rear passengers get heat too (ONLY the outside rear passengers, not the middle one, probably due to potential for car seats there I guess? ). It's 10 times easier to climb in the third row. Both rear and 3rd row passengers gain substantial room too. No more knobs to kick back there, nice flush buttons up out of the kicking 11 yr olds way. Rear hatch is power, nice, no more rear opening window (or *I* haven't found it yet). Heated outside mirrors. (Hallelujah!) Better vision, bad blind-spots with huge ugly rear headrests (I yanked 'em and stuck 'em in the house already. A waste.) Nice big tub under the rear old tool/tire area, now carpeted, plenty of room for my 3 collapsible fishing poles if it weren't for that Bose air chamber thing..(13 speaker stereo rocks, WOW! I strongly encourage blues and rock fans to find Chris Duarte's song AMY LEE or IN THE NEWS TODAY as your test! A guitar GOD!) and maybe some tackle, but not *MY* tackle, but hey, I take the kitchen sink.
Ok, can't think of anything else right now, but if you think of anything, ask![/i]
