Question for those with the 2" spacer in the rear. How are you guys getting it in there? I've tried to rent a coil spring compressor kit and all that did was allow spring to droop out longer as soon as I unbolted the bucket. Did u have to completely unbolt the bucket holding the springin place? That's the only other thing I can think of to do but it's going to be a pain to get it back in place.

Jack up truck
Get another jack under spring just so it doesn't release all at once
Take bolt out
Slowly lower jack from under spring
Spring will fully decompress and can be removed
Place spacer on correct spot
Install spring into spacer
Jack back up so bolt lines up
Tighten bolt
Done

Haha! Thx Dibo. I got them installed with no problems. In my defense I went to my dad's house because he has impact tools but his floor jack is sh**. Used my own floor jack and cranked her up and it literally took less than 15 minutes a side.

You can either contact fjallasport(similar to arctic trucks. Both based on iceland) [email protected] www.fjallasport.is They sell the flares

Ive also found some interesting flares on ebay that might fit.

Pathfinder 4x4parts 3in Body Lift

Postby lilalbis » Wed Jan 28, 2015 6:29 am

Im looking to get a lift kit installed for my pathfinder. Its a 2010 LE and I was looking at getting the 3in body lift from 4x4parts. I've seen a couple people on this thread recommend not getting it. Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't get this? The individual said the 3" body lift will really mess with your car, and although I will admit I know very little when it comes to lifting vehicles as this is the first lift I will ever have purchased, from what I have read/heard is that the suspension lifts are the ones that can really screw up your vehicle not the body lifts. 3" is the lift height that I am looking for, and I do not have any other lift kits/shocks or any other after market product installed. I do not plan on using this vehicle for off-roading or anything, I just want to be able to fit larger, all terrain tires (Or maybe even the Wrangler Duratracs) to handle snow 4-5 months a year, and add a more aggressive look to the vehicle. Let me know if anyone has any experience with this lift kit, or if there are any kits you recommend. I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars on a lift especially if it is only 2-3", so if there are any additional recommendations please try to keep the price under 500$. Any pictures are greatly appreciated as well. :D

Yeah bud I went with Rancho quick lift front and got the rear shocks also and did the 4x4 parts heavy springs that are 1¾ taller .. Didn't use the blocks I can give ya that part numbers I used to help ya out.. Also with a body lift your shifter gets shorter and what I've seen and heard from a few on here that after 3" of lift it gets really hard to get your truck back into Factory alignment . it throws off the geometry to much .. Hope this helps

A body lift wont do anything to your suspension/alignment.

There are tons of set-ups in this thread, did you see any that might have caught your eye?

What size of tire were you looking at putting on? In order to keep it very cheap and not looking for OR performance, I'd go with a spacer or leveling kit in front and a spacer and air bags in the rear. With install that shouldn't exceed 500$, depending on what brand(s) you go with. This is of course a suspension lift and may cause a little alignment issues, but not likely since it is in the 2" range. This set-up can easily fit 33" tires.

Installed the 4x4parts.com Deluxe Suspension Package

Postby DCPathy » Tue Mar 10, 2015 12:29 pm

I just installed the $495 Deluxe Suspension package from 4x4parts.com(bilstein version). Vehicle is a 2008 Pathfinder LE V8. The tire size is 275/65/18 on factory 18 inch wheels. Tire brand: Cooper Discoverer ATP
Front is sitting on the 1.5inch spring perch ring.

This is the package I installed: http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18915784-delu ... ckage.html

Installation was pretty straightforward. I started around noon, had to run to the store for a couple of sockets that I didnt have, took a few breaks and was done by 7:45pm. Front was harder(my spring compressor sucks) while the rear was super easy. The procedure outlined in the factory manual was spot on. Truck rides great. Still trying to get the alignment in spec - one of the rear wheels is off on the toe. Anyway, highly recommended so far, love it.
