SO that leveling spacer would sit on top of my rancho quicklift front shocks. is that possible or am i not thinking straight..
You would never get the alignment back into specs. The alignment is pushed to the max with just 2" of lift.
Is that because of the IRS? I've never had an IFS/IRS vehicle before so lifing them is new to me.
Yes, the independednt suspension limits how far you can go. The Calmini 5" lift drops the independent suspension mount points down and that is how it obtains the lift.

Hi guys...

So I want more lift... I just LOVE my Radflo setup, it works VERY well offroading, specially with my new tires - I can recommend the Federal Couragia MT - they are great!!

BUT... Because of the overhang behind the vehicle and the lower side of the car, I would like to lift the body since I now have stretched the suspension to the max with the allignment still in spec.

I dont want the Calmini 5", because I think that makes the car alitle out of proportion...

What do you guys think about this lift - https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfin ... -5496.html

3" seems like a good lift and not too extreme. Think this will be perfect. Anyone installed this one on their Pathfinder?

I think body lifts are fine for fitting bigger tires, I wouldn't go bigger than 2"s though.

That said, if you can fit your tires currently I would look at aftermarket bumpers front and rear to cure your "overhang." Body lifts do raise COG and weaken the frame to body connection. These PFs have horrible plastic bumpers that hinder approach and departure but that is easily cured with bumpers, plus you get the added armor/protection.

3" body lifts can look a little hillbilly. Low rigs with big meats perform and look better IMO. Got some pics of your rig?

So I know there has been a vast amount of back and forth debate on the best options for lift and stiffening the ride a bit. What I'm looking for is just 2" and I'd like to stiffen things up a little in the process. The LAST think I want is to struggle with alignment troubles after the fact. I know you can purchase a cam-bolt kit to help with rear alignment but being that I have a 2005 - I think I should already have that. All that in mind... what is my best option?

I was thinking that the deluxe kit plus the Airlift 1000 would be the best option and was seemingly pretty cost-efficient. About $500 out the door. But, it sounds like there have been very mixed reviews on this kit so I could use some help, what's the best option?!

I have the front struts front the deluxe kit and rear shocks with the airbags and spacers instead of the replacement springs and im not happy im going to order the rear springs from the kit. With the spacers my rear end sits almost a inch lower in the rear so hopefully with the springs it will level it out or bring in up higher which i dont have an issue with.

Well my car is lifted 2.5" on the suspension.. I dont want body lift only to fit tires. I have new tires - 33" and they fit without no problem with the lift I have now.

The main wish for a body lift is to get the body higher off the ground.. So it clears out of obsticals when offroading. More clearing when driving over big rocks and other obsticals that can hurt the chassie.. Not only that. If your body gets stuck in the trail, you wont get either back or forward no matter what tires you got...

I have driven with some Land Rover guys lately and the Range Rovers and Defenders have higher clearence to the chassie.. That is truely an advantage when offroading!

good looking rig and I would really push the point that bumpers and sliders will do a lot more for you. Raising your COG will negatively effect your abilities off-road more than the added clearance. Removing all that plastic crap would be the real ticket. Looks like there are not a whole lot of options for the rear, removing the lower mudflaps would get you closer, about as much as a body lift.

Hey all. My pathfinder is stock. However I'm looking to buy tires this fall. The tires I want are the goodyear druatracs. I'm looking at 275/65/R18 which come out to a 32.1 inch tire. I'm afraid this will rub on the front end. I know others have done the 265/70/R17 which are 31.7 inch tires. However I don't want to buy another set of rims. The reason I'm posting here is i'm looking to either level out the front end, which I think will allow me to fit my tire size or do a possible small overall lift.

Has any tried or know if the rough country leveling lift for the frontier will work with our Pathfinders? Here is the link: http://www.roughcountry.com/nissan_fron ... g_kit.html

I know there is alot of similarity between the Pathfinder and the Frontier, but just looking for feedback or other suggestions. Thanks. :D

I have the GY Duratracs in this exact size. Though I don't have experience with the RC leveling kit, these tires rubbed bad up front when I had my AC Deluxe Suspension set-up (Bilstein 5100s up front set at 2.0" of lift). I removed the mudflaps, melt-modded my fenders and ground down the pinch seams, and still rubbed on turns until I got a proper alignment done after installing my radflos. Good luck.

That's not what I really wanted to hear. My other idea is to try and buy some 17 inch rims and get the 31.7 inch tire and not have to deal with rubbing.

Sorry volvite. On the otherhand, I had firestone destination a/t's in 265/70/17 on my oem wheels and they didn't rub at all.

That's what it looks like I'm going to need to do. I don't want the rub, but I really want to try the Duratracs.
