Hey guys and gals. New to this forum. I hope to help others as well as be helped along our Pathfinder journey.

My family and I visited Carolina beach for the first time this year as the weather was mid 70's and beautiful. I wanted to share a few photos from our adventure.

Welcome to the great forum! I too just bought a 2008 pathfinder le 4x4 but with the 4.0 v6. got it with only 40,000 miles on it. it now has 40,350.... spent alot of time playing with it in 4 days. seems like a great truck so far. it is also my first nissan product.

Thanks guys. It really is an awesome truck. I was actually out at the beach today. Sunny and 55 so I had to soak up some Vitamin D.

55 degrees is making me jealous.... 18 this morning in chicago. taking my pathfinder to the radio shop to get my ham radio equipment installed. i am a national weather service storm chaser. debating on putting my light bar from my old truck on it or not. this truck is almost too nice to put that on it.

Man 18 degrees is a titty bit nippily. I hope your pathfinder has seat warmers :D

I agree totally with the truck being nice. I like the idea of a light bar and would actually like to add one in the near future (When driving off the beach lastnight in the dark I thought to myself how nice it would have been to have one.) I would like to add one in the lower grill of the bumper. I am not sure how effective it would be down there but I think it would keep the clean look of the pathfinder while still adding a bunch of lumens.

Those kind of lights are awesome. I have that type on a grill guard I will be installing when it is warmer. Type of light bar I am thinking of installing is the same as a police car but amber and white instead of red and blue with triple flash strobes

I was hesitant to mount my 32" bar in the lower grill but it turned out fantastic. I have no experience with light bars so I bought a lower end ($130) light bar to test and it exceeded my expectations. The extra light on the beach is very nice. I have tried to take a picture of the brightness but the picture does it no justice.

That's exactly what I am picturing... Do you have a pic of yours installed? A link to where you bought your light?

I have a few more in a post here. It is much brighter than the picture shows, my iphone camera does not do well with picking up the light.

That looks awesome!!! I like how it curves with the bumper. Thanks for the link. I may try one out. It sure would help with gravel roads and the beach.
