Rear bumper swap? New member from Chicagoland.

New member and new owner of a 1999 Pathfinder. I am curious if anyone knows whether the stock rear bumper from a 1998 Frontier will fit directly onto my early 1999 (not 1999 1/2) Pathfinder. I hate the plastic and I love a step. I appreciate all input pertaining to this, thanks.
