I picked up a new 2022 Pathfinder SL (without premium package) on 3/30/22.
I am glad to have found this 'Nissan Path' website/forums.
My plan is to snoop around a bit, and then start posting...
Lots to talk about here!

Awesome!
We are so happy to have you! :D

Obviously Congratulations on your fantastic vehicle.

I collected 2022 pathfinder reviews in our 2022 sub forum.

forum61.html

It needs traffic so I hope you can post up some pics and personal experiences in a sperate thread on there.

I am also curious how much you paid

Cheers!

Hi palmerwind, and thanks for the welcome!
I will check our the link you provided and post pictures, etc there.
This car was tough to come by. I actually 'ordered' it, from a list the dealer provided me with, on December 6 2021. It was whacky! ALL the other local dealers were asking 5,000 - $10,000 over MSRP!! The reason I went to this dealer - they were the only ONE that 'promised' to deliver it at MSRP!!! I had my reservations but, sure enough, I was able to pick the car up on Wednesday 3/30/22, 3.5 months after the 'order' date.
There were some other shenanigans during the transaction but, I was able to prevail. It wasn't easy!!
Anyhow, I am thrilled with the car except for some minor disappointments (Nissan), but, that is a story for another day.
I am anxious to dive in here and share experiences and tech tips for the car!
I am certain I will contribute to the traction you are looking for!!

Thanks for the quick and positive response.
Definitely interested in details of your buying experience.
perhaps that could be an additional separate thread too on top of the vehicle experience.

That you got it for MSRP is pretty incredible.

I am not surprised they tried to hit you with some other fees.
when vehicles sales volume goes down due to supply issues they need to find a way to keep the doors open with the few vehicles they do sell.

I have 2 SUVs right now but I am very very seriously considering exchanging one of those for a 2022 Pathfinder.
Thinking of a grey SV AWD perhaps.

I hear you, Palmer. I also have 2 SUV's - the 2022 Pathfinder SL, plus a 2001 Tahoe LS that I bought new in 2001. That truck is sensational still, to this day!
I would suggest, if you are planning on buying a '22 Pathfinder SV, that you check out the entire list of 'amenities'' and electronics it comes with. Nissan really got a bit sneaky with the release of the redesigned '22. They actually included some of the items we used to think as basics in the upper trim models only.
You may find this trim-level comparison chart to be helpful: https://www.nissanusa.com/interactivebr ... index.html. They don't include every little thing so, analyze carefully and investigate the details for yourself.
Right off the bat, I can tell you my disappointment in the SL included: memory drivers seat NOT included, the blinking red LED on the dashboard (for the integral security system is NOT included, and the motion activated lift gate is NOT included. It's a short list, for sure, but these features were important to me. Shame on me for not checking it out and shame on Nissan for doing this for 2022!

I have tried to attach photos of my new Pathfinder with no luck. I tried both ways - 1) using the attachment feature (received an 'error' message and, 2) dragging the picture to the message box (received the same 'error' message). I think I struck out here with 2 strikes.
Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something obvious?

There's a size limit on attachments. Not sure exactly what it is, but I know shrinking to 1500 pixels on the wide axis fits every time and retains decent clarity.

In the past our attachment function has been out of whack , especially after a database update.
but i just tested it and it seems to work.

This is the size of some of the pictures:

8.88 MB (9,321,283 bytes)

10.3 MB (10,869,687 bytes)

10.0 MB (10,544,821 bytes)

8.44 MB (8,851,887 bytes)

Are these too big?
They do post on other boards, so I'm curious...

PS - I just checked the error message and the photos are, in fact, too big. DUH - OH!!!
Let me try to reduce them...

I use Photo Filtre or Paint to reduce mine, but just about any photo editor will do size reduction. You'll find "Image Size" someplace in the tabs and pulldowns. There will be a button or checkbox for "preserve aspect ratio", check it and then reduce the long dimension to about 1500 pixels. That still gives decent resolution and fits for sure.
