Happy owner of a new to me 2010 Pathfinder S with 90,000 miles. It had original shocks that I am getting replaced along with any needed front-end parts. I am having my mechanic do a transmission coolant reroute. Maybe new plugs?
Going to Chicago I got 15.5 on highway with non-alcohol gas. With gasohol I do 14.5. Premium gas really not worth price $1 price difference IMHO. Got my beast for only $10K. In my opinion putting $3K in maintenance early will give me a ride until I die. It had new tires. I already had a remote start installed. Be fun when we get our deep snows.

Good idea with the maintenance plan!
Thats what I do when I get a used vehicle.
Change all fluids and find out on the boards which idiosyncrasies the vehicle has and address them.
Look in the respective threads on this site.

And take a pic of the parts stick on your radiator.
In a 2010 you may already have the updated radiator (or u may not its the luck of the draw)
But at this age replacement probably not a bad idea regardless.
I just replaced a raditor on a 2011 even though it was the "good" one) sinc eit was 12 years old and had 166,000 miles on it.

Thanks. It is 4X4 S model. I told my mechanic to do an antifreeze reroute the trans cooler in radiator. He felt better putting in a small radiator in its place. Doing plugs too.

Sir I do not understand what you intended to convey.

Sorry. Bypassing and adding an additional cooler. My way of prevention without replacing radiator?? I do not do my own work anymore.

Bypassing will do the job.
I tend to encourage simply replacing the rad as the better engineering solution.
It also preheats the tranny in the winter and cools in the summer.
But several members have run simple bypasses for years without seeming ill effects.

In the case of my 2008 I replaced the rad
(and did same for my 2005 Xterra and now the same for my 2011 Xterra, which ahve the same radiator parts numbers as our pathfinders.)
The 2011 did not need it from a SMOD concern but I did it due to age.
A fresh radiator is good for he health of transmission and engine.

but there are many who feel the bypass is sufficient so YMMV

But the shop charges more for the radiator than the route I went believe it or not. As I have said I am old and don't do that crap anymore. If I were 20 years younger and still had my shop, I would do it myself.

OK. I have a BOSCAM K7 Wireless Backup View Camera + 5″ TFT-LCD Monitor Reversing System coming. My Pathfinder is a 2010 S. Change out BU and turning lights to LED too. The BU LED is great. Cheaper than adding a light.
