Just wanted to say hi, and get a post under my belt.

Looking to buy a Pathfinder in the next few months and thought I'd sign-up to hoover up some info to help me with my purchase.

I'm off to have a look round on the forum now, looking for common faults and things to look for, pre-purchase.

You'll find this forum to be more focused on the North American produced R51. Yours would be manufactured in Spain.

Not sure on all of the differences, but the European version has more options regarding the powertrain, you guys get the 2.5L CDI diesel and a 6-spd manual trans option. In North America, we are stuck with the 4.0L V6 and the 5spd slush box trans.

9 months have passed and finally, today, I got hold of the keys for my 2006 PAthfinder.

Boy am I ever happy...

Drives beautifully... can't wait to get it muddy as hell
