Hey, looks like a nice truck mate...
Give it a 2 inch lift and you'll find it's much more capable, and it won't cost you a fortune to do that.

Go out and make it work for it's keep ;)

Welcome to the forum mate.

my uncle bought a 1995 brand new and it has never broken down since. only major work done was a bit of body work after a roll on its side.

I agree about body lifts, not a big fan of them myself.. the body wasn't really made to be raised, raising the suspension does enough to change your centre of gravity as it is.. but if it's a 2 or 3 inch lift it is enough to be useful, but not too much.

Be careful with a 3 inch lift (or anything higher) as it might cause the drive shafts to be on too much of an angle and cause the uni-joints to chew out.. where as a 2 inch lift won't cause any problems at all..

Now that I've got my 2 inch lift I 'might' consider a 1 inch body lift just to get a bit more, but it seems far too complicated as you've pretty much got to adjust soooooo much stuff it's not funny, so probably not important enough to bother with, I reckon that when I get my shockies replaced and perhaps some detachable swaybars it'll do everything I want... besides, with the LSD rear diff and locked in 4WD it's pretty much unstoppable, so the 2 inch lift just makes it easier!

Your truck looks quite nice... :)
