New owner of Used 2006 White Nissan Pathfinder S

HI Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce my self. I just purchased a used 2006 Nissan Pathfinder S for the family.
I currently have a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS (Rally Yellow - Auto).
I previously had a 2008 Saturn Outlook XR, silver, with tow package, navigation, rear view camera with parking sensors, which I bought brand new on Dec 2007.
Because GM eliminated Saturn from its line, I decided to get rid of it. I really loved that SUV, but didn't want to risk the 'depreciation' in value of it. So, because I was already planning on buying the new Camaro, I decided to trade it for the 2011 model year (Camaro) on October of last year (2010)
I was then 'forced' to look for an alternate family vehicle for my family (wife). I was considering getting a used 2004 Honda Odyssey EX, a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext-cab or a used Nissan Pathfinder (2006-newer, but used).
I couldn't/can't believe how much money these Honda Odyssey owners want for their used minivan with 100+K miles here in California (about 10K - 12K USD). Also, most used 2008 GMC Sierra were still going for over $20K. I really didn't want to spend over $15K USD on a used vehicle unless I had to.
I began looking at used 2006+ Pathfinders and was able to find this white one for about $12.9K.
I did some research on the pathfinders. I learned about the radiator/transmission problems. I made sure to test drive the SUV and I looked for the symptoms. I didn't see anything wrong with the coolant in the radiator or the transmission fluid. The car ran fine and I decided to buy it.
Because I had already read all the pages on the 'Transmission/Radiator bypass' section, it was the first thing I did to the car. I hope I get several years (5+) out of this vehicle without any major issues (transmission??).
Thanks to all who posted all the great/helpful information. I plan to to keep reading this forum.
thanks,
BL in San Francisco.
