Back in a Nissan!

Hey all!
I've been lurking for a week or so, waiting for my 2008 LE to become "mine." (and by "mine," I mean, "my loving wife's who lets me drive it.")
I've been a Nissan lover since I had a Driver's License. My parents helped me buy my first car, a new 1988 Sentra 2 door. after 160,000 miles, I got stuck in the middle of a pile up on the Loop around the Twin Cities, and the Insurance company gave me a check for the slag that was left.
I replaced it with an '87 Pulsar NX, which lovingly carried me 180,000 sun and fun filled miles, then I loaned it to my best friend (who is no longer such - but not for that) who put another 50,000 on it. While I had the Pulsar, I also picked up a '95 Pathfinder SE, in FEB of '96, with 15K on it. I put 150,000 or so more grueling, mudding, pounding miles on it. My then wife, got a '95 King Cab 4x4, but after 8 months the dealer took it back because it was never able to fix a leak in the windshield, which flooded the passenger footwell everytime it rained. They gave us a '99 Altima in its stead. I took a forced break from Nissans, and that wife, and finally came back to fold with an '03 Xterra in 2007. But that didn't last. I rolled that, and the Insurance company totalled it. We replaced it with an '03 honda Pilot, which was nice, but not me.
But, now I'm back in the groove once more!

iPhone pic, sorry. 2008 Pathy LE. This is the most loaded vehicle I've ever owned. only 53K miles on her, too. Got a great deal thru Carmax. My only qualm is the lack of tread on the rear shoes. I'm going to have to replace them by the time winter hits WI. I'll more than likely rotate the fronts to the back until then, and replace the BFG Long Trails with some thing slightly more aggressive.
It was previously a leased vehicle, and it was used by a Sales rep of some sort, who hauled around a bunch of trade show crap. The back end interior plastic looks like he had a dogsled team climb in and out a thousand times. Carmax had to replace the rear plastic ends of the luggage rack, because he had those all chewed up too. The left side rack bar has a few deep gouges in the metal too. I'm not too worried about that, I'm planning on replacing the assembly with a basket, and I'm leaning towards the Wilderness rack for that.
I'll get some other pics up later! I'll see if I can dig up some of my '95 and scan 'em in for nostalgia!
