New to a pathy but not Nissan

Hi all I am looking into getting a pathy mid next year so I figured I could gain some information on them and what I want out of it. I know I want a 4wd and it will be heavily modded just don't know how yet.
Right now I have an 01 xterra with a 2" body lift and will do a 2" al at the end of this month.
