Thanks everyone! I know I'm very late to the party. I just found out about the new redesigned 2013 Pathfinder a few days ago
I'm also a member of Club3G.com for about 11 years now. The Pathfinder replaced a 1998 Honda CR-V (blown rack and pinion). I also have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse and a 1991 Honda Civic. I'll post some pics of the Pathfinder later.

There are a couple threads on the forum about the new 2013 pathfinder and I'd say over 98% of the forum does not like what Nissan has done. They will destroy the pathfinder name with the new version.

Need some opinions
Looking to get a roof cargo box in the near future. But first, I need some cross bars

Should I go factory OEM cross bars or aftermarket like Thule or Rhino Rack?

There are good and bad about both.
OEM looks better, fits inline with the exsiting rack and is closer to the roof line. However, it usually lacks the overall weight it can support.
Aftermarket, has great attachments, lots of weight but sticks up higher possibly affecting wind noise and such.

Yeah I think I want to KISS (keep it simple stupid)

90% sure I'm going to go OEM.
So far the plan is cross bars, cargo box, and tilting hitch bike rack. I think I'm set

Maybe the airbags and Volo chip

Oh and maybe the OEM OR skid plates

LOL! You're here too!
Thanks, but this isn't really a "project". Well, at least I don't want it to be
My head is spinning right now from researching cargo boxes

I think I maybe going with the Yakima SkyBox Pro 16s. Price to size ratio compared to Thule boxes, it's looking better.
