Been looking at cordless (18/20v Lion) Impact Drivers (1/2")

Looking for any suggestions as to which ones are best and are they actually worthy of automotive work????

thanks in advance!

My kids got me one similar to this for Fathers Day a couple of years ago.

I have used it quite a lot for a number of different maintenance or repair projects. Upper ball joints on my wife's Explorer, front axle shafts and bearings on a 2000 Olds Intrigue, front hub bearing on a 2008 Impala, several brake jobs, and many tire rotations. It came with two batteries and a fast charger. Very useful tool. [/url]

Old-ish post but Makita <insert> has always been a win for me. I happen to have a BTW450Z and it has handled everything from crank pulley bolts, lug nuts, suspension bolts, etc.
