The Nissan Path

Hey I did the 5 speed swap on my 90' pathfinder about a year ago. The issue I'm having is my tranny came out of a 95 Pathfinder with a speed sensor. My truck is mechanical. I've drove it without a speedo for a long time now and I just want to get it fixed. Will my mechanical gear fit directly into the spot where the speed sensor is? from the outside they look identical but I'm wondering if they'll swap. I would have just figured it out myself but I'm having troubles getting the sensor out and before I end up BREAKING it, I'd like to make sure it will work. Thanks for looking hope you can help me!!!!
