hi everyone ...im looking at installing a k@n air filter ..just the filter..has anyone done this and if so is it worth it..thanks

Yes, and no. Just my opinion, but I had no noticable gains in anything when I had mine. I posted a link in another thread here, which I can't find, that went to a site that tested various filters. You might be okay where you live, but I just don't feel good running the K&N in the desert since it seems to let in more particulates than any other brand. Just my opinion.

i recieved one from a co-worker on wednesday. i did not notice any differencies yet. it sound a slightly better under heavy throttle. i will put it on the dyno to see if it makes a big difference power wise.

Waste of money
