The Nissan Path

I have a 14 Sentra with a little over 40k on it. It runs and drives great so far (the cvt still makes me nervous, but I do almost all highway driving so hopefully that helps it) but I’m having an issue with the fuel gauge. It seems to work, but when it reads empty and the little miles to empty screen is just showing lines, like I’m completely out of fuel, I stop and fill it up and 9-9.5 gallons is all it will hold. It has a 13.2 gallon tank. Is there really almost 4 gallons of unusable fuel on these cars, or does mine just not read correctly?https://discord.software/ fetLife itunes

Either the evap system vent is clogged and causing the gas pump to shut off before the tank is totally fully, or, there's likely an issue with the fuel level sending unit.
