Well picked up the Pathfinder yesterday at 3.30pm :D
What a machine...love it!!!!
Went for a drive to Stirling, about an 80 mile round trip, and managed to get 35mpg....not to shabby at all!
The road presence is amazing, very smooth ride and the sound system is immense for standard fitment.

Over the moon with my purchase!

Funny, your Path looks just like mine (except they put the wheel on the other side), but I don't get near that mileage. Oh, I remember: diesel. I wish they would bring the diesel engine to the states. I would trade mine in a minute.

By the way, where are your Nissans assembled?

Nice Vauxhall. We don't get them either.

Enjoy your new baby!

Cheers,

Its assembled either in Ireland or Spain.
Yeah the Diesel 2.5ltr Turbo power plant makes some great torque. I was driving yesterday sitting about 50mph and the revs were sitting at 1600rpm in top gear.

My 4.0 gas engine turns similar rpm at that speed if the auto transmission locks up in O/D. Of course, it has no power then. If it comes to a slight hill it must downshift. (That's another thing we don't get: manual gearbox!)

If I made an 80-mile trip at steady 60 mph on flat land, I estimate it would get around 24-25 mpg. At motorway speeds, it would drop to very low 20s.

yeah I too generally get right around 20 mpg on trips.
I have driven this thing from Nashville TN to L.A., Chigago, Atlanta, Tulsa, and Indianapolis all on separate occasions and I have always got about 20-22 mpg on 93 octane
