my cat converter/muffler connecting pipe corroded recently after a few years of driving up north through the salt covered roads. im going to get a new muffer here soon, any suggestions?
im trying to go for the throaty sound, and i dont want to get a stock exhaust. right now, i secured my old muffler and cut out a section of the piping to stop the rattling, but i dont want to keep that for long although it sounds pretty good.
please let me know, as im a converted pathfinder owner from an old jeep.

I also want to know, my exhaust is the original, but for some reason its making a little deeper sound.

What is it that you cut in your exhaust?

I am looking for a deeper sound but in a cheeper way (I would love to get Flowmaster, Gibson, etc but no money)

What could be done??
