The Nissan Path

So is it possible to get a SmartKey on my Pathy even though it didn't initially come with one? I need to get a new key and keyfob anyway, I just wanted to see if I can spend some extra bucks and get the nice cooler looking keyfob that comes with the LE's instead of the SE's that are made to look like LE's

Not sure how easy that would be. I'm actually trying to figure out how to set up my intelligent key so that when I walk up to my car it unlocks and when i walk away it locks. And also looking into making my knob a push button...

AS for ADDING this feature
It doesn't look to be VERY easy, as you would have to install a few antennas on the 2 front doors and liftgate and change out your ignition component.
I'm sure courtesyparts has all the parts... Let us know what your findings are...

the new lexus cars have that feature when u walk up to it, it unlocks by itself without pushing any button on the door or otherwise.

maybe a look at the lexus manuals can help ?
