Center console plastic latch

Hi,
I have a 2007 LE and the little plastic latch that keeps the center console closed broke about a week ago. It is a super cheap little piece of plastci but according to the dealer if i want to replace it i have to buy the whole lid to the console for $166! That's like them saying - you need a new oil filter so if you want it replaced you are going to have to buy a whole new engine.
I can see the two little screws that holds it in place, so it's not like it all one piece.
I searched the forum but couldn't find anythiing on this.
Has anybody found the original manufacturer of this piece or does anyone know where i can get one?
Don't really feel like calling every junkyard within 100 mile radius to try and find one - i'm lazy that way...
