97 Pathfinder Transmission

Hi, I bought a 97 pathfinder 3 years ago. I bought it with 165k and it currently is at 204k. Since I have owned it, I have never changed the transmission fluid. I have know idea when it was changed last. I have read that it is sometimes a bad idea to change the transmission fluid when a vehicle has high mileage and still shifts well. The fluid seems slightly pink and clean. I would appreciate any advice.
