08 Pathfinder Electrical problems

Hi All,
my Pathfinder has been in an out of the dealers more time that I care to think about. Initial issues were with interior panels popping, the glove box not closing properly. I had a head oil leak that was dripping onto the exhaust manifold that caused smoke. All of this got resolved nicely by my dealership here in town.
Next though came a number of issues with the electrical system. Firstly it wouldn't start. Looking under the hood I found that the electrical harness was basically disintegrating and the connectors had a lot of corrosion on them that had eaten through the battery connectors. This also killed the battery. The whole harness had to be remove and a new battery installed. Few month later it would turn over but not start. Back to the shop and they replaced something else. A few weeks later the same things. This time they thought it was the negative terminal connection failing to send a signal to the computer thus not letting it start.
Nissan US sent out a specialist, gave it the all clear and for the past six months its been the vehicle I wanted when I bought it. It started well this morning, come to work and park it, go to get in it again and nothing, won't even turn over. All the lights and everything else are running and it has current. So its being picked up to go back to the shop. I asked them when I called how many times had it been in for this issue. This is number 5. One time they couldn't find any reason why it wouldn't start but it started for them. That's cool, but now 4 times. I am over it.
I love the thing. I had taken a lot of time choosing it, getting the color I wanted, bought it new. But now I have lost faith in it. What if it won't start and I am in a remote location.
My brother and father have older Nissans and they have been bullet proof. The main reason I decided on one. I had a Landrover before this and it was as is common very unreliable.

So what say you guys, just a one off? I'd be happy for Nissan to trade it in on a new one as I still like them, their handling and power. Has anyone else had similar problems.

Thanks for any replies,
Edan

 that's a long list of troubles!
how many miles on your truck?
BTW: the "2005+ Pathfinder (R51)" forum would be a better place for this topic
