Just bought 2011 pathfinder s on Friday. Got it stuck in mud yesterday cuz it rained a lot the night before. Do u guys think anything crucial happened to car underneath? Desperate to find out husband doesn't know about it!

Welcome To The Forum! :)
what a crummy way to get started with your new truck........
mud, in and of itself, shouldn't do any harm
i'd clean as much off as reasonably possible though
BTW: how'd ya get out?

I washed off mostly all of it with a power washer. My friend pulled me out with his truck. I was afraid my bumper would come off, but it went pretty smoothly. Now I am just paranoid if anything happened underneath. My mind is playing tricks on me! Here's another question....when your at a stop light, is ur rpm at zero or a little under the 1? How should it be?

with warmed up engine, idle speed should be about 600 rpm
with A/C on, maybe just a little higher

Don't stress it is a truck built for the mud. Also if anything happens you still have warranty.
