towing

Does anyone have any experience with towing a travel trailer with the pathfinder? What size of trailer, where you took it and how the experience was. We are looking to buy a 23 foot light weight hybrid and we know that the tow limit for the PF is 6000 lbs. We do know about tongue weight and sway bars etc. We believe we would be within our limits but we would like to hear of others experiences before we decide. Thanks for anyones help

I pull the 6' x 12' Utility trailer from U-Haul loaded with motorcycles and/or scooters(<1500lbs) about four times a year. I've experienced zero problems pulling all day at 70mph on flat round. Here are the specs of the trailer...

It sounds like I'm not pulling as much weight as you, but data nonetheless.

Thanks Volvite the first and third links were great. I couldn't get the second one to work, but just reading that others are comfortable towing that weight with the PF is a great help! We had already planned on the weight distributing hitch, braking system, and air lift but there is so much conflicting information out there on towing limits. Oh and yes our PF is. 2011

No, they don't. You have to use a mirror on a stick
or find something in an after market style.
