If Nissan brought a diesel over I can't tell if I would trade/sell my Pathy to get one at this point. Are the over-seas diesels already running the ULSD crap that is being phased in here?

Diesel in Europe and elsewhere have had little or no sulfer for a decade, it's the US market that's been badly behind the times on this regard.

It's not surprising that the diesel beat the Prius. A few years ago they did a test on Top Gear between a Prius and one of the VW diesels. The VW had almost double the mileage of the Prius on the test (~72 mpg vs ~40 mpg).

the pathy desiel motors top out at like 110 not very fun on a empty road
