The Nissan Path

I have a 2005 Pathfinder that I had a Kenwood 9980HD installed in a couple of years ago. When I accelerate the radio reception suffers. I know we have a powered antenna, and I think the installers connected the antenna to a lead that does have enough current to power the antenna when the system is under load. Hope that's clear. Wondering if this is just me or if this may be something else... I will eventually pull the unit out and troubleshoot, but I wondered if I was alone in this experience...

you're not alone. i suffer from terrible radio reception. i havent taken a look at it yet but i'd be interested to see how you fix it.

I'm still suffering through it... Never built up the gumption to void the warranty by opening it up... Now that you mention it, the warranty was only two years... I have to be getting close to the end...
