so no one has ever had to change or replace a bulb in their gage cluster ...?

i guess i will just have to pull my cluster out and do a write up on it.

I've never had a bulb go out on any vehicle. If you do take things apart and add in some LED bulbs, it would be great if you could document (and photograph) the process. I have a post floating around here where I asked about doing the same, but nobody has...yet.

interesting. . . .

like i said i did this to my 96 honda civic coupe and on the forum i belong to for honda civic's there was a lot of feedback and information to assist me.

i guess i shall be the supplier as opposed to the seeker.

i will be in touch on this topic.

No offense, but there really is no comparison between this forum and a Civic forum. Completely different crowd & way more bling involved.

Definitely keep us posted. If you go LEDs, which color(s)?

the color of my 95 SE is a dark blue, factory color; i heard they only did this tone of blue on few pathfinders.

so i gonna do my gage lights blue and the two under the dash lights that illuminate when the doors open.

(i would love to post a pic but the pics i have of it are too big and mr. noob here {ME} has no clue how to make it smaller to use for my avatar; <---any offers to help would be greatly appreciated by the way).

That's the color I would want if I did this. I've seen other sites that have member photos with tons of different colors. The blue look the nicest IMO.

Just right-click and save this to your PC to use:

Good news, I found the file. But I don't know how to attached it here. I was able to find the entire manual for the R51 PF. The entire file is close to 200MB but for the combination meter or gage is only 2.8MB. It shows the entire wiring diagram and how to remove it.

Let me know if you are still intersted.

Are you talking about the service manual? Or is this something different?

Yes, the same manual! Or at least I think, do the publication number means anything? I have this one SM5E-1R51U2.
